Neighborhood Watch Committee

The Neighborhood Watch Committee is in great need of help. This committee is responsible for alerting the residence of any suspicious behavior or malicious acts in the neighborhood, placing the red plaques on the neighborhood watch signs at each entrance, updating the website, and keeping in contact with the Metro Police Department. Once a year there is a National Night Out Against Crime. In the past, Traceside has participated by hosting our own event. Recently, there was not enough neighborhood support for this event to go on.

We all know it is vital to maintain our Neighborhood Watch Committee. The only way to do this successfully is to obtain support from you - our residents. If you are interested in chairing the Neighborhood Watch Committee, please send a message to webmaster@traceside.com.

The Neighborhood Watch Committee focuses on the safety of our community. Crime prevention/awareness and safety information are the primary areas of focus for this group. This Committee maintains a list of "Neighborhood Alerts" to provide residents information on suspicious or criminal activities.

Safety Information

The following information was provided by Metro Police as part of the Neighborhood Watch Program that Traceside participates.

If you see any suspicious activity, including people loitering around the playground, please contact the Metro Police (862-8600). If you know of a crime committed, please notify the Traceside webmaster (fayecombs@comcast.net) so it may be posted on the website.
